Meet the Bluegrass C.S.I. Team

"Our mission is to scientifically investigate and research the paranormal. We apply scientific principals to our investigations. We wish to provide understanding and information to those in need."

Welcome to the Bluegrass Coalition for Spirit Investigators. We are a paranormal research team, in the Lexington, Kentucky area.

Our goal is to help those in need. If you are in need of our services please contact our Case Manager, with your information and we will contact you as soon as we can.  Our belief is that a single investigation is not adequate to prove or disprove any principal. We will work with you over many nights, this may be over several months. We will make a thorough investigation before we reach any conclusions.  We understand this may be a private matter for individuals.  For this reason our policy is not to disclose any private information that would identify you.  Your name,  and location will be kept private.  We will make available to the public our evidence that we collect.  We feel this evidence must undergo the scrutiny of the paranormal community and the "watchdog" groups.  We also understand that some cases the "haunted" status of a site may be desired to be made public.  We will make our findings public, when and only when we have received written authorization from the client to do so, and only once we have completed our investigation.

If you feel you are individual that is interested in being a paranormal investigator, and that you have the following qualities, please contact our Case Manager about joining our team.

  • Willing to accept the Paranormal as a possibility.
  • Willing to scrutinize evidence for scientific or natural causes.
  • Available to investigate cases at night.
  • Understand that discretion of cases is necessary to protect our clients privacy.
  • Willing to work with a team.

Completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. I now have 10+ years as a software engineer for a large software company. Four years of participating on a problem solving team, has given me a trained way of thinking to find and weed out problems from the excess information that we normally receive in any given event. It is with these skills that I now pursue the paranormal.

I believe there is something after death. In some cases that is a spirit or energy left here in the physical world. Exactly what that spirit or energy is what we are here to discover. To often scientific principles are ignore or pushed aside, because of faith or belief, and far to often by desire. Here in 2009, it is my belief that we have the technology and the knowledge as a species to begin the investigation into the paranormal with a scientific methodology that can begin our journey into this great mystery.

My goal is to weed through the theories to find the ones that have scientific evidence. We have much more to learn as a species, whether it's the make up of sub-atomic particles or the mysteries of time and the universe. We must approach all of these with the same methodology and look for solid evidence. We then must take that evidence and build our theories. Sharing this information for others to attempt and reproduce.

Together with my wife Myra, we have formed the Bluegrass C.S.I. to create a paranormal investigation group that is scientifically based. Together we are the founders of Bluegrass C.S.I.

As a biologist I have always been fascinated with the study of life, human or otherwise, and what makes us tick. After graduating college I started work in human clinical trials and pharmaceutical research and have been working in this field for over 8 years. My job requires I focus intently on all the data I review and look for the missing pieces while ensuring all safety and efficacy data has been reported to the drug manufacturer appropriately and by federal standards. Naturally, what lives eventually dies and my interest in the living also carries over to the deceased and what happens from that point on. Like most, I am curious if there is an after life and whether or not I'll be able to come back and visit those I've left behind in the land of the living. I too believe the time has come for the science of studying the paranormal to be just that, a science with scientific measures taken to validate or to debunk activity believed to be spiritual in nature. I am fortunate that my husband Jeff shares in this belief and is also curious about this field of study.
