Coalition for Spirit Investigators GhostChat

Ghost chat is a service of Coalition of Spirit Investigators that allows paranormal groups to add an interactive chat system to their website.  We have established a rest-api for you to interface with this system.  The rest API currently consists of a single call, however this will be improved in the future.  The system generates 3 chat rooms. The first chatroom is "General" all users of GhostChat can access this room to speak with other users across sites.  The second chatroom is your group name, or if omitted this will default to the Bluegrass C.S.I. group.  The third chatroom is the "Help" chatroom for users to ask for help.

group   (Optional) This parameter is the name of your Paranormal gorup. The default will be Bluegrass C.S.I. This will create a chatroom dedicated to your group, that only users through link will be able to access.

name (Optional) This parameter allows you to specifiy the name a user will use in the chat.  This is provided for sites that have authenticated the users.  If not specified the chatroom will prompt the user to enter a name.

 Below is a sample HTML that will place the  icon and when clicked it wil open a new window and take the user to the chatrooms.  Modify the "Bluegrass+C.S.I." to your group name.

Coalition for Spirit Investigators GhostChat Who is Online

Want to show on your website who is logged into Ghostchat currently?  We now have a way.  Just add the small line below and it will pull the Online status into your webpage for you.  This does require that Javascript be enabled on the client browser.

Coalition for Spirit Investigators Lunar Chart by Date/Time

Now you are able to place a lunar chart for any specific data/time on your website. All you need to do is copy the script below.  If you examine the URL, http://bluegrasscsi.org/moonphase/date.php?secs=0  the "secs" specifies the exact time you want the chart generated for.  secs is the number of seconds since January 1, 1970 00:00:00 GMT.  Just enter in the date/time you need or use PHP, JavaScript or Java to enter this value.
